Memorial & No Service Options
Families have more choice than ever when it comes to farewelling their loved one. Most want tradition and ceremony, while other prefer to keep it simple. Durdin & Forgie have always offered a No Funeral Service option, though now we have given you even more choice and made it more flexible to adapt to the needs and wishes of individual families. As with any of our services, they can be tailored to suit your requirements.
There are generally four main costs:
Professional Service fee +
Cemetery or crematorium costs +
Choice of coffin & legal documentation +
Also you are able to select other optional choices.

Dad has passed away at home (2:00am). The palliative care team have been and said that we can call the Funeral Director. We would like to see Dad, but we don’t want to have a formal service but would like to see him to say ‘goodbye’. We would also like to play his favourite song, “Always Look on the Bright side of Life.” We had a gathering for Mums at the Cowan Street venue and would like it in the same place.
